Hey! I’m Andrea, Freelance Writer and the face behind The Everyday Project. I am passionate about hearing and telling stories, and believe that our voices are the most powerful tools we all carry.
The chorus bellowing from the unsung legends of Newcastle have had my mind, body and soul dancing since I moved here in 2019. I want to turn up the volume and platform Newcastle’s quiet achievers who are enriching our community in so many ways – I want to tell the story of Newcastle through the lives of its everyday people.
The Everyday Project represents the people of Newcastle who are, in their everyday pursuits, changing the feel and vibe of this town to become one of the most vibrant places to be for young professionals outside Sydney.
The women of Newcastle are the focus of this platform, but that doesn’t mean they are the only voices you will hear. We are all on this journey together in creating the equal and inclusive world we are aspiring towards.
